How do you get paid for an ebay shipping label that the post office wouldn't accept

What reason was given for not accepting the label? Was the label actually printed, or did you have a QR code to give to the clerk?

Cancel the unused label. The refund takes about 3 weeks.

Go to Manage shipping labels.
Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select Cancel Label.
Choose your reason for canceling the label.
Select Send request.
