How do you get a product when you were charged, it wasn't shipped, 30 days went by before you realized it
Summary: jklefty is facing a challenge with a seller who did not ship an item despite charging for it and failing to cancel the order. They are unable to get eBay to intervene due to the 30-day limit passing. wooden_flower suggested trying to request a refund through purchase history, as the seller must either provide a tracking number or give a refund within three business days. They also advised contacting the credit card issuer if eBay options are exhausted. mr_lincoln added that the seller is being dishonest and supported the idea of disputing the charge through the funding source if necessary. jklefty expressed frustration, highlighting their personal challenges, and accused the seller of being dishonest.
How can I get a seller to send an item that is beyond 30 days but today is actually the 30th day since I received their message saying they couldn't cancel the order. I have everything documented. They did not cancel the order. They charged my bank account. They did not issue a tracking number. Nothing was ever sent to me. They kept the money and did not shop the product. I was waiting for them to send it and life diverted me from being aware of the countdown. I have everything completely documented and I have sent a message to the seller bringing this to their attention and asking for a resolution, but I cannot get eBay to step in because 30 days have passed since they charged my bank account.

OP1 month agoIt’s very simple how I could get charged and not realize I did not get the product.
First of all you did not send the product after charging me. Don’t try to blame the victim. You are the dishonest person ripping off the customer.
I did not realize it because I am 71 years old with cancer getting chemotherapy daily. I am also the full time 24/7 caretaker of my disabled son. I am constantly going to doctor appointments, the pharmacy and doing everything to take care of someone disabled. Making meals, laundry, cleaning, transportation, scheduling with doctors, managing medicine, on and on. I assumed you were an honest company and the casters would show up eventually. When I had a free moment in my life to think about something other than my cancer or my son’s disability I went online to find out why the casters were not shipped. So, you are completely responsible for being dishonest. I am responsible for being extremely sick and extremely busy and trusting. I trusted you. You were dishonest. That is my answer to you trying to blame me because you didn’t ship the product you charged me for.

Mentor1 month agoHi @jklefty
In addition to what @wooden_flower has provided the Seller is not being very honest with regard to cancelling the transaction. It is simple to do, I;ve done it on a number of occasions. The seller is trying ti keep your money. If getting a refund through eBay fails you will have ti file a dispute with your funding source.

You cannot get them to ship the product, but you can get a refund.
After the last expected delivery date, but no more than 30 days after the last expected delivery date, go to your purchase history - select 'I haven't received it' and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to provide tracking that shows delivery, or a refund. If he doesn't, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
If it is just 30 days sine you tried to cancel, you should have a few days left before the 30 day not received window closes. If the ‘I haven’t received it’ option does not show then you cannot file through eBay. In that case, call your credit card issuer and ask them to open a dispute for an item not received.
