How do you cancel a return for a defect?

I purchased a preamp that has a problem with its power connection. I have worked it out with the seller. How do I cancel a return? Then we have agreed doing arrangement as documented in eBay messages. EBay a I help sucks and does not address this issue anyway that I can find. Kindly advise

If you've changed your mind about a case you've opened, and no longer want to return your item, it's easy to cancel your request.

Cancel a return request

Go to your Purchase history and find the item.
From the More actions dropdown menu, select See request details and then Close your request.
Select your reason for closing the return from the dropdown, and add details if you want to.
Select Confirm.
