How do you block buyers with less than 10 feedbacks?
I have had several buyers with less than 10 feedbacks leave a negative feedback for me WITHOUT contacting me first to resolve. I think they are not aware of how important feedbacks are and just shoot off a negative without knowing the reprecussions to the seller. I would like to block these buyers if possible. HELP???

Mentor9 months agoNo, you cannot do that.
And you have never been able to do that.
I posted a link to the buyer management page. Everything about blocking bidders/buyers is there.

Mentor9 months ago@lady_madonna is correct.
Not only that, eBay has never had that option. Since everyone starts with zero feedback it would kill the website if sellers could/would or ever block buyers with less than 10 feedback.
You can block any buyer you want, but you need to know the ID prior to blocking. A random block based on feedback is just not possible.
You can see the buyer requirements and blocking options here:

OP9 months agoLet me state another way…I didn’t explain my question clearly. I would prefer for buyers with a 5 or less feedback not be able to view my store. Is there a way to do this?

Mentor9 months agoYou have only one negative feedback, not several.
It is not possible to block bidders on the basis of number of feedback.
Buyers are not required to contact sellers before leaving feedback.

OP9 months agoYes, I am aware that the buyers do not have to contact me before leaving a feedback. However, most of my buyers contact me if they are not happy and we both resolve the problem. The only negative feedbacks I've received are from buyers with less than 10 feedbacks ~ possibly new eBayers. I've been a seller since 2006 and eBay previously had this option because of this problem. I guess eBay deleted that option. Too bad.

Mentor9 months agoI have been on Ebay for over 25 years and there was no way of blocking buyers based on low/no feedback.
There used to be a way to block buyers with a certain number of negative feedback.

You're misremembering. What you are thinking of is this setting in your Selling Preferences:

OP9 months agoYes, at this time I have only one, but previously this has been a problem and the buyer and myself have resolved one way or another to both our advantages.
I don't want to get in a talking match about this subject. I apprerciate you answering my questions.
