How do I talk to a real person from Ebay about an insurance claim?
I have never got a real person on the phone from eBay to help me with any of my problems. is there a way to talk to someone and what is the number? I insured a card that was sent to authentication, it was a graded card in the protected case and the package was damaged and crushed the card cracking the front and back of the protective case and ruined the card, I tried to follow the steps to file a claim online, the issue is at the end it says to enter my PayPal email address so they can credit that account. I don't have a PayPal account and I don't use one. I called Shipsurance and they said there should be another option where I could get a check sent to call eBay. Can't get through to ebay and there are no answers online to this topic so what do I do?

Mentor3 years agoYou cannot call directly, but you can request a call back from eBay if you are in the US:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
Or you may be able to contact eBay via social media:
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/eBay/
If you have a general question that does not involve account details, you can try asking a question here or on one of the other discussion boards. Lots of experienced users can offer advice and suggestions.

Mentor3 years ago@mega_don Do you use FB? eBay for Business on FB would be your best option to get help with this.
https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness The agents are more experienced on eBay for Business.
Although it's really between you the insurance company UNLESS the card made it safely to the Authentication center and was damaged on the way to the buyer then it's on eBay.
