How do I stop eBay thinking I'm in the USA?
I'm in the UK and want to transact in pounds sterling £.
I've bought and sold on eBay in the past - but not for a few years - always in pounds.
Today when I tried to list an item for sale I get asked to give a dollar $ price and I'm given US shipping options.
My registered addresses are in the UK
And I can't find anywhere to tell eBay I'm not in the USA.
How do I fix this?

·3 years agoAny listing you set up here will be in USD and "domestic shipping" will be in the US (UK shipping will be international shipping). Pay careful attention to your browser's address bar when you are doing something important like listing or bidding or BINing: there are links on ebay.co.uk that lead you here to ebay.com, and people tend to not notice it until later. Also check any time you are called on to login since your login cookie is only good for the site you are on when you login.

Mentor3 years ago@allankellynet since u have a UK account, have u posted on the UK site? they may have the answer there.
here in the US, we have to be registered with eBay's Managed Payments system in order to sell, don't know if that's the case in the UK

OP3 years agoCleared everything down and logged in again on UK, that seemed to have cleared it.
Thanks
