    ebay is the one that opted sellers into requiring auto pay for placing bids on auctions and making Best Offers.  Sellers can go to their communication preferences and opt OUT of auto pay.  That is what I did, because I want to encourage multiple purchases and give a discount for combined shipping.  ebay recently made a change with auto pay.  If buyers are bidding on an auction, they now have 7 days to complete additional auctions, in order to save on combined shipping.
