How do I Stop Auto Credit Card Charge on Best Offer Items
How do i turn off the auto payment with my credit card or best offer auctions? ebay keeps authorizing $0 and my credit card company thinks these are tests for fraud activity and freezes my credit card. Thanks for any info

Mentor3 years agoIf the seller has that option checked in buyer requirements and eBay has chosen your account to be among those who need to provide a valid payment method to make an offer or submit a bid, you cannot disable that requirement.
Try using a different card.

OP3 years agoI have been a buyer and seller for 24 years and this just started happening the last couple weeks.
The issue is that every time I make a Best Offer, I get a $0 authorization on my credit card. They think my card is getting compromised and freeze my account. The $0 happens when I make the offer, even if the seller has not even received my offer or accepted or rejected it. This is crazy.
