How do I send a partial refund back to the buyer?

The white pre owned tennis shoes .Had a scuff mark on them and a yellow spot.They did not want to pay for postage to return. And suggested a little refund. Dumb me said yes.So does she have to go through ebay or do I? I'm sure it will hurt my ratings.But from to marks that I didn't see.I have pictures of the shoes,but not the side of the spot and scuff mark.Any thoughts will be helpful.

Find the item on your sold list and from the drop down menu next to the item click on "Refund". Make sure to enter the amount you want to refund or eBay will refund the whole amount to the buyer.
