How do I report suspected fraud to eBay?

Question

Recently, I began receiving items that I didn't order instead of the items that I did order. Mostly, the items received are worth 2 or 3 dollars compared to the $45 item that I purchased. I contact the seller. He requests photos. I send the photos and I never hear from the seller again. Then, I formally request a refund. After that, I must wait a week then contact eBay for help. I suspect that the seller is hoping that I just give up and don't pursue it.

This is happening more and. For many years, I've enjoyed buying cool and weird used items on eBay. Maybe, it's time to start purchasing new stuff on Amazon instead.

As of now, I haven''t found an acceptable way to report this.

If you receive something other than what you ordered, you can file a Return Request.

· Within 30 days from date of delivery, go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under “More actions” click on “Return item” and select the reason for the return. “Doesn't match description“. Attach a photo.

· IF your request is approved, the seller will have 3 business days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.

· If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 business days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.

@whodatmark < wait a week then contact eBay for help > If you're saying that you opened a Not As Described claim for a refund, then had to Ask eBay to Step In and Help, then that serves as a report. eBay hates it when seller inaction causes them to get involved, even if it's only through the computer, and they sanction the seller for doing it.
