How do I remove an items posted for sale?
I posted an item for sale on eBay, but it has since been sold and I forgot to take it off of eBay. I now have a buyer who has "paid" for it on eBay, but I cancelled the order. I think the order is "cancelled", but how do I verify this and officially remove the post from eBay altogether?

Mentor2 years agoIf it sold, then it is no longer active. Cancelling does not reactivate the listing.
I still see it in your sold items, so you do need to check on the cancellation. If your buyer had already paid, you need to refund the buyer - did you see that when you were cancelling?
Go to your sold items - it is shows waiting to be shipped, you have not cancelled it yet. To cancel, select cancel transactions from the the pull down menu next to that order. Then select I am out of stock, then select refund buyer.
eBay will take the refund from your bank account or card, depending on which you have set as your preferred method for paying selling costs, but will then release the buyer's payment to you.
