How do I protect myself against scam buyers?
I had a buyer purchase a Michael Kors coat from me recently. Upon receiving the coat, the buyer messaged me claiming that the coat they received was different. They sent me photos of an unbranded black coat, that was clearly not the coat that I mailed them. I stated that, per my policies, I do not accept returns. I reported the buyer, but have yet to hear the resolution from eBay. The buyer then left negative feedback which is false. I am trying to have the negative feedback removed. My question is, as a seller, how do I protect myself from scam buyers such as this? It seems too easy for a scammer to simply say that the item received was different than what they purchased, and then try and have eBay refund their money, while still keeping the original item.
