How do I opt out of the new "Payments Terms of Use"?

According to an email received today, eBay is changing their "Payment Terms of Service" to restrict disputes to full and final arbitration, which will become binding unless one opts out before February 4th 2025. While I do not expect to have any disputes I do not wish to be restricted to any mere arbitration, preferring to have court action as a last resort, though I would be loathed to go that far. I have some doubts that such a clause would be considered fair and reasonable but I would rather avoid that legal hurdle and just opt out as they say can be done in the link in the email.

Interesting, aside from not answering the question, that is not obvious; although I suppose closing my account is a way of opting out, why imply you can opt-out?

The email just said the Payment Terms of Use would be changing, an email I would normally dismiss without much thought but I decided to click the link. The link is where I found out that the changes would impose some kind of restriction on disputes to resolution by arbitration without legal recourse if I did not opt out by Feb 4th 2025. Why not just say, if you don't like it then get off our platform?

So opting out is meant to be simply to stop using the eBay platform. Why not just say that?
