How do I open or find message from someone I am told has sent me a "direct message" , I believe in this community discussion group

Question

I checked my messages on regular eBay page, no messages. The notice shows me two names and says they have direct messaged me. If I click their names it just shows their profile. If I click three dots, only options are to mark as read/unread or to delete. There is no obvious way to find the message. Like a button that says, "read message". Thanks for any help.

Direct messaging is currently disabled.

(eBay will not send official messages to you here.)

We're seeing an increase in Direct Messages with phishing attempts targeting users on community.ebay.com. Due to this, we have temporarily disabled private messaging on Community to protect our members. Some of these DMs are very difficult to identify as phishing attempts.
