How do I move my listings into categories in my store?

I have listed categories in my store but I can't seem to find a way to organize my listings in order to move them into the categories.

I think you will want the information I have under Bulk Edit below

There are 2 types of categories

1) eBay Categories (mandatory)

2) Your own custom Store Categories (optional)

Your store can display items organized by eBay categories or own custom Store categories

Edit your Store

Scroll to the bottom and Select Category Preference

- eBay categories OR

- Store categories <<== Your custom store categories

To add a Store Category to a listing while Creating or Revising the listing

If you are using the "Advanced Listing Tool" (with the ï¸™ 3 dots in the upper right)

- Category will be about 1/3 down on the left "Item Category" beneath Title

If you are using the "Mobile App"

- Category will be about 1/3 down beneath Item Specifics

Click the Category name and select the Store category you prefer.

OR

Click "Edit" to the right and you can see spaces for 2 eBay categories and 2 store categories

To remove an eBay category, click the 2nd category and select "Clear"

To remove a Store category, click the 2nd category and select the "-" at the top of the list

To change a category, click the category and pick the one you prefer.

Once you create a category in your store, you can move any already listed items to that Store Category using "Bulk Edit".

To change Store Categories

1) Go to your active listings in Seller Hub: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active

2) Check the box beside each listing you want to make a change to. (start with just 2 listings)

3) Select the Edit drop-down to make your changes.

Once Bulk Edit opens,

1) Select your items again, then

2) Edit Fields

3) Category (under Listing Detail)

4) Store Category > Change to > Select the Store category

5) Apply

6) Submit All

7) Confirm and Submit

8 ) Done

You can sort your listings in seller hub before you check the boxes to select which listings to edit.

For instance, using the word Baskets first, then select your basket, then bulk edit to put into your personal baskets category

You'll be able to see listings which don't have a 'store category'. They will be under "other"
