Mentor1 year ago@jslay1952. No need to go outside of eBay to issue a partial refund as @ewsupply suggested.
Just go to the sold item and select send refund from the drop down menu next to the item. Next screen select shipping adjustment for the reason then enter the amount and submit.
By refunding through eBay you receive your seller's fees back on the amount you refund.

·1 year agoAsk them for their Venmo/ Paypal details (or whichever service they use) and send the refund that way.
