How do I get unlocked? I am new to Ebay but I can't create any listings!
Summary: collettestreasures is experiencing issues with their eBay account, where they are unable to create or revise listings despite being informed by eBay that they can start selling. They see a message to resolve open issues but have no messages in their inbox and cannot get support from eBay. lady_madonna suggests ensuring registration as a seller and participating in eBay's Managed Payments, but collettestreasures confirms these steps have already been completed.
I just opened my Ebay account and tried to post a listing. This is what Ebay says: "You can't currently create new listings or revise existing listings". How do I fix this? I had my account restricted by eBay, but they verified me and said I could start selling. But when I list my item, I get this message: "You can't currently create new listings or revise existing listings. Please resolve open issues to resume selling. Go to your Messages for more details"However, I have no messages. And no matter what option I select, I cannot get connected to Ebay for help. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Mentor1 month ago@collettestreasures You will need to contact eBay customer service for assistance from #3
However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that the name and address on your eBay account matches your brick and mortar checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type Verify Checking account in
the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

Mentor1 month agoDid you register as a seller and did you provide information for Ebay's Managed Payments?
Register as a seller:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792
Full name
Address
Date of birth
Social Security Number (SSN)
Getting paid for items you've sold

To verify your bank account, Ebay will need:
· Name on the checking account (must match the name on your Ebay account)
· Bank name
· Routing number
· Account number
