How do i get reimbursed if i listed and sold an item on auction for 2,500$
Hello. I would lik3 to know how it can get reimbursement if I listed an item that sold at auction for 2,500$ and within the last 2 hours of the auction a detective contacted me and informed me that the item was a stolen item and needed to be returned to him at the soonest convenience. Which I did turn it over to the detective. But now that payment has been on hold and the buyer has been informed of the issue with the item needing to be returned to rightful owner and understanding the issue is being professional and calm and resolved to settle the auction and return all funds. I've tried to do this but the item still says payment on hold. Who do I contact to be reimbursed for the money lost and how would I go about getting the money that is owed to me ?thank you for your help and insight on this timely matterĀ
