How do I get reimbursed for an unused shipping label?
My request for an unused shipping label shows completed, but has the wrong tracking number. I can not get past the automated Customer Service number to speak to a person. The label I used to ship the package shows delivered and the unused label correctly only shows being printed, never scanned. The "Help Resolution" option does not cover this type of problem. Getting frustrated. Need help to contact someone to resolve this since the incorrect label was over $121.

OP4 months agoI finally got an Ebay agent to call back. He did reaffirm my request for reimbursement was in place and it would take place in 14-21 days. When I pointed out it was already 24 days, he replied that it is 14-21 business days. Looks like they will wait until the last minute to reimburse me. Very disappointing, but will have to wait a few more days to see if resolved. I am not optimistic to say the least at this point.

Your voided shipping label is NOT being refunded by eBay. It is being refunded by the shipping company ... USPS? ... which usually takes 2-4 weeks. The reason it takes so long is that USPS wants to be sure the label hasn't been used.
I have not seen any reports of people NOT receiving a refund if the shipping label was voided/cancelled in time, which is within 28 days of the label being purchased.

OP4 months agoI understand that it is the USPS, not EBay for the refund. If It had not gone throught EBays system, it would have been simpler.To wait a month for a label to show in any system is excessive. Worked in management for 30 years at UPS. Back when I retired 20 years ago, this type of junk would not happen. The transportation chains have changed a lot ( and not always for the better) since I retired, so will wait and see. If you go to your Shipping Labels page and locate the incorrect label, you should be able to cancel it from there.
You would then see your refund in approximately 21 days.
