eBay no longer offers direct PayPal payments between buyers and sellers. Buyers can still use PayPal to pay, but it goes through eBay’s checkout system, not to your PayPal account. Sellers no longer receive funds in PayPal - instead, eBay collects the payment, deducts any fees, and sends the payout directly to your linked bank account. This change helps streamline transactions, strengthen buyer protection, and ensures proper tax reporting and regulatory compliance.

After the buyer pays (even with PayPal), eBay processes the payment and usually sends your payout within 1–3 business days.
A few important notes:
You don’t need to send an invoice or request payment outside eBay.
All communication and payment should stay on the platform - this keeps you protected and in line with eBay policy.
