How do I get paid for gift card

Question

I sold a gift card on eBay, I created a shipping label before the buyer asked me to send him picture of the gift card to save shipping. Now the order is in waiting delivery status. How can I get paid at this point?

You need to ship the gift card if that is how the listing was created. If you do not ship, ebay will most likely hold your payout for 31 days, making sure the buyer does not file a case for Item Not Receiveded.

If the buyer paid for the gift card, they would have had to pay the shipping charges at the same time. Sending a picture of the card would not save them from having to pay shipping charges since that is way the listing was set up.

Do you plan on keeping the shipping charges the buyer paid since you did not ship it?

As @disneyshopper stated, there could be a possibility that the buyer could file a Refund Request due to item not received and you would lose the dispute since you do not have tracking information to prove delivery.
