How do I get my package back when it ships to a UPS Access Point?
Summary: bpsurplus is concerned about a $1700 package shipped via UPS through eBay that a customer has requested be redirected to a new address. They are wary of the change and want advice on how to retrieve the package from the UPS Access Point instead of consenting to the address change.
I have a package that was $1700 and we shipped it to a customer via UPS on the eBay platform. The item is shipping UPS ground but the customer says they used their old address and we need to ship to a new address that they provided. When looking at the tracking, UPS says the following: "We were unable to deliver your package. It's on the way to a UPS Access Point™ location next business day for pick up.". How do I get this item shipped back to us? I do not trust this customer honestly and am not having it shipped to a second location. Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

Mentor1 week agoIf the package sits unclaimed it will be returned to you.
Otherwise, you need pay to have the package "intercepted" and returned to you. This is easy if you shipped using your own account, but may be a problem if you used ebay UPS. Try doing this on the UPS website, or contact ebay.
