How do I get my item back after the item was sent to the authentication center?

I sold a $400 item. I sent the item to the authentication site. Received email that I will be made fully whole (i have the money) but the buyer never received the item and he was refunded. I auctioned the item and it sold very cheaply. I want my item back, not the money for the sale. How do I proceed to get my item back.

That is not the way the authenticity guaranty works. If eBay allows you to keep the buyers payment and they also refund the buyer then if the item is returned to the authenticators it will be returned to eBay to sell and recover the amounts they paid out.
