How do I file a complaint against a seller for sending incorrect merchandise
Seller did not ship until after I complained - blamed postal strike in March 2025 in Chicago for pity’s sake - shipped item AFTER my complaint, provable by postmark - shipped incorrect item - never communicated with me again after blaming postal strike except to belittle me and advise me he was blocking me. Very unhappy and can’t find way to file complaint.

You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
You can file a return via the item in your Purchase history within 30 days of receipt using the return reason, "does not match pictures or description". eBay will send you a pre-paid return label. The Seller will have 2 days to refund you once they get the item back.

OP1 year agoThank you so much for your help! I started the return process now and am hopeful for a resolution through eBay because I am doubtful of receiving one from the seller. I’ve had so many positive experiences with sellers that this caught me by surprise. Thanks again for the timely and eminently useful reply!

OP1 year agoThanks so much again. The seller never responded to eBay or me, so I got my refund. I really appreciate you directing me to the starting point in the process!
