how do I contact ebay without recorded phone call?

Ebay "temporarily" locked my account because of a "third party may have accessed" my account, restricting my account ability to buy, sell, or send any messages, even to sellers I had purchased from. I received a damaged item and cannot send any message. In an attempt to have ebay unlock my account, they are wanting me to call them or they call me. There is a message I get stating "if I don't want to be recorded, please contact ebay another way". Problem is, I see no other way to do so other than a (recorded AI) phone call. The AI chat "assistant" is useless and goes around in circles.

If anyone could help in any way, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

You can contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
