How do I Contact Ebay (A Human) to handle micro deposit issue for account verification?
Summary: pratt-doroteo is seeking guidance on how to contact an eBay representative to address an issue with bank account verification. They switched payout methods and updated their bank information but have not received micro deposits needed for verification, possibly due to insufficient funds. disneyshopper asked if the new bank was selected from a list or entered manually.
I was wondering is there a way to get incontact with an ebay rep who can possibly help with bank account verification? I had this ebay account for a while so when switching payout methods I changed banking info from a bank I no longer use. To a newer bank, the issue with this is I waited over a week or two for the micro deposits so I can verify. But no luck, im assuming due to the account having insufficient funds. I would like some help in getting into contact with someone to cancel the request for micro deposits and change the bank account on file.

However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that the name and address on your eBay account matches your brick and mortar checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service

Then Type Verify Checking account in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
To CHANGE the bank account you have to first ADD a new account and then delete the old one in account settings.

Mentor1 month agoDid you select your new bank from the list of banks, or did you scroll to the bottom and select that your bank was not listed and entered the routing number and checking account number?
