How do I contact eBay?
How do I contact someone at eBay? I am having problems with a return. The seller has been helpful but is limited. The contact us and help pages are definitely NOT helpful. They go round in circles and DO NOT give you the option of talking to a real person. The AI bot is pointless if you need help. The phone number listed for contact in Australia appears to be disconnected, each time you ring it it asks you to check the number you have called.

OP10 months agoTwo problems with what you have said.
1) I am having problems with purchase history as it is not showing all my purchases.
2) The seller was trying to source the correct item but was unable to do so, which took me past the return limit date, so I cannot start a return which is why I am trying to talk to someone. The automated bots just send you around in never ending circles.

All you need to know about filing for a return is given in the link below, and is from the Australian site.
https://pages.ebay.com.au/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
Basically when you file for a return because an item doesn't work, is damaged, or not in the described condition Go to your purchase history, click on the More Actions button > Return item > select the appropriate reason and follow through to file the dispute which will appear just above the item title in your history.
The seller will have 3 days to either send you a return shipping label, or issue a refund. if they do neither or make excuses, on day 4 click on the dispute and in it click on the Ask ebay to step in button. A refund will be processed from the seller's account. There's no need to speak to anyone.
