How do I clear searches so my loved one cannot see that I have been looking for a certain surprise?
I want to clear my search history so my wife cannot see that I have been looking for a gift for her?

Mentor1 year agoIf you share an eBay account, you can hide some obvious things by clearing your Recently Viewed page and opening additional unrelated item listings, but there is not much you can do to prevent eBay from providing suggestions similar to past searches and displaying that on the main eBay page.
If you both use the same browser on the same computer, you might be able to use an ad blocker's element hiding tool to block certain fields from appearing on the main eBay page, but that will not help if you use different browsers or different devices.
Change your eBay password. Sign out of eBay, and clear your browser history.
In the future, use a different eBay account to purchase gifts if you share an eBay account, or search while not signed in using a private or incognito browser window and purchase as a guest.
