How do I change the language Ebay is using by default?

I'm in a country where Ebay has decided I should speak German but I'm in the French-speaking part. I don't want Ebay to communicate with me in German but I don't see where I can change that. Any idea?

One possibility is to register a new eBay account on a French speaking country site eBay's French site. Or Belgium or Canada.
