How do I change shipping price
Item was way more expensive than we guessed to ship. Buyer has agreed to higher price. How do I change the shipping cost on the transaction?

Mentor11 months agoYou cannot charge more for shipping than what the buyer has already paid.
In the future, make sure you correctly input the shipping cost based on total weight and dimensions of the prepackaged item.

OP11 months agoHow do you know shipping costs for a large item until you know the address to ship to?

Mentor11 months agoNext time use Calculated shipping and ebay will adjust the charge based on the buyer's Zip Code. Or use a Flat Rate to the furthermost Zone from you.

Mentor11 months agoYou are very welcome.
You don't need to know the address where you will be shipping if you use calculated shipping as per the link I provided and choose "based on buyers location" and it will figure it out for you and the buyer will see how much they will need to pay you.
Do not cancel the transaction, otherwise you will receive a defect on your account from ebay. Many new or inexperienced sellers make the same mistake in under estimating the shipping charge.
