How do I cancel an order I accidentally placed?
Is there a customer service phone number that I can use to contact an actual person working for eBay instead of this AI crap and stupid help articles? This app is not letting me cancel the order.

Mentor4 months ago@mapoker-r22ksxic A buyer can only REQUEST to cancel the order. An eBay agent can not cancel an order for you as the sale is a contract between you and the seller.
You can message the seller and beg nicely for them to please cancel the sale. Sellers are not required to cancel no matter how soon you ask.

OP4 months agoWell this is scummy on eBay’s end. Customer service is non existent. Well if the seller doesn’t accept the cancellation I’ll just have you return the item once it’s shipped. Looks like I’ll never on here again 🤷

If the seller declines your cancellation request, or if they've already shipped your item, you'll need to wait until you receive the item and then request a return. If your order wasn't canceled and you haven't received the item, you can report that the item hasn't arrived once the estimated delivery date has passed.
