How Do I Cancel a Shipment on an Order that a buyer cancelled?
I had a buyer cancel an order after I had already shipped it. I noticed too late and tried to back out of the acceptance of the cancel, but it had already processed. What do I do now? Am I able to get the shipment cancelled? Do I just contact the buyer and hope they return it? Or able I able to reverse the cancellation and only refund if they return the item?

MentorJul 12, 2026 at 8:32 PMIf the item has already shipped, are you able to go to the carrier and try to retrieve the package? Depending on the value of the item, you might pay for Package Intercept, but there are noi guarantees. If neither of those options are available, you will have to contact the buyer and let him/her know that it was too late to cancel the shipment, and once received, s/he can file a returns request.
