How do I buy sports cards on eBay without paying sales tax on items I plan to resell?
I recently obtained a Texas resale certificate so I could sell some of my personal collection at local shows. If I want to buy a sports card on eBay with the intent to resell it, I want to use that resale certificate to avoid paying sales taxes. I still want to use my same account to continue buying sports cards which will add to my personal collection.

When you get tax exempt on this account, you can only buy for resale. You would need to have another account to buy things for your personal use or not for resale.
