How do i block certain states from ordering from me?

Question

I am in ohio. I need to block California, texas, arizona, washington, oregon, arkansas and utah from ordering from me. The postage is way to high to ship to these states and it seems to be the only orders i get. How can i block these states?

Hi @mid-town_media

Sorry, that can't be done.

If you are going to use "free" shipping, then you need to increase your item pricing to cover the cost of shipping to the furthest zip codes.

I would recommend using calculated shipping so the buyer pays only the cost to his own location rather than an average or higher cost of shipping to a zip code further away that has been embedded into the selling price.
