how do I ask for a buyer feedback removal request on a 5 month old sold item?

Hi.

I sold an item 5 months ago in which the buyer wrote a positive comment but hit the negative feedback button. At the time I just let it slide. It was, and still is, my only negative feedback. However, I now realize that I really should get it removed incase I ever DO get another negative feedback.

I tried to do it through the eBay system, but it only allows requests for 90 days out or less. I tried to contact customer service but none of the choices it asks me to select include this issue. I am hoping if I can get intouch with an agent, that they could see it and remove it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@ljanlin I am sorry but it is too late to ask for a feedback revision or to ask eBay to remove the feedback.

Revision can only be done within 30 days of the date the feedback is left.

eBay can sometimes remove comments up to 90 days.

In the future the correct procedure is to send the buyer a feedback revision request>
