How do I appeal a listing of mine being flagged as a counterfeit item when it's not?
I bought a Telfar Patent bag directly from Telfar a little over a year ago and I listed it here on Ebay recently. I made sure all of the details about the bag were correct, taking the information directly from the Telfar website. I received an offer from someone else selling the exact same bag I am selling and I rejected their offer. Then I get an email from Ebay a few days later saying my listing was "removed: Counterfeit item policy". My bag isn't counterfeit, I have the emails from Telfar to prove it is real.
One thing I noticed about the other listing is that it says the bag is 'patent leather' but it's not leather, it's actually faux leather, according to the Telfar website. I listed my bag as being faux leather because that is what the real bag is made of. It even says this on Telfar's help section of their website: https://help.telfar.net/en-US/what-are-the-shopping-bags-made-of-192021
My question is, how can I appeal this? I don't want people to think I am selling counterfeit stuff.
