How do I add an invoice for additional charges after buyer has paid?
I sent the buyer an invoice for the order with the correct amount due (including shipping charges). After 2 days with no payment received, I sent a "reminder" 2nd invoice, but I made an error and omitted shipping charges. The buyer paid the amount stated on the 2nd invoice (without shipping charges included). How do I invoice him for the correct shipping charges?

Mentor3 years agoSince you sent the buyer a discounted invoice, you must honor it. You'll have to cover the shipping cost out of pocket.
In the future, don't send repeated invoices when the buyer hasn't paid. eBay already sends reminders. Each time you send an invoice, you extend the time until you can take action.
If a buyer hasn't paid by day five, select the cancellation option in the dropdown next to the order using the reason that the buyer hasn't paid. The buyer will earn an unpaid item strike on his account. Two or more and his ability to buy will be limited or even ended.
Add the buyer to your blocked buyer list here:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Scroll down that page and turn on the option to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items within 12 months. That will help to protect you from repeat offenders.

You cannot charge the buyer more $ than they have already paid.
