How did an item sell TWICE?
Hey, not sure if this uncommon, but I sold something two days ago, and I wake up this morning with another "SALE" of the exact same item. How is that possible? There was no way for me to contact eBay and tell (let alone ask) them that "somehow" this item was "relisted" (w/o my permission) and then RESOLD. Weird. Just weird. I obviously cancelled the order, but I don't want the buyer to think I did something wrong or shady, when I had nothing to do with it.

You had ONE lot of 15 and made the listing as a Quantity of 15 lots of 15 hats
When you only have one set of 15 you only enter the quantity of ONE in the listing.
Unfortunately you will have to cancel the sale as out of stock. You do get a defect for canceling with this reason.
The first thing you need to do IS END the listing from your active listings page before you sell more.
Select END next to the listing on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
Next message the buyer and let them know that you made a mistake on the listing and unfortunately do not have more hats to sell them.
Next go to the active listings page and select cancel> out of stock from the drop down menu next to the item.
Let me know if you have any questions.
