how d i get paid for a refuned item that arrived late from the post office?

buyer says not received, i send refund, now buyer receives item....why will ebay not help with this issue??

Ebay cannot help because Ebay has a Money Back Guarantee for buyers whereby the buyer deserves a refund if the estimated date of delivery has passed without the item being delivered to the buyer.

If the item gets delivered after they have been refunded, the buyer is not required to repay for the item nor obligated to return the item. You can send the buyer a polite, friendly message to see if they are interested in repaying you through Paypal or other online payment service, but they are not obligated to do so.
