How changing return window affects seller fees
We have an eBay store. We want to change the return window from 30 to 14 days. However, when we asked an agent about that, he said we would lose our Top Rated selling status, and therefore, would lose any selling discounts. He was not able to tell us how that would change. He said the system determines that and there is no way of knowing ahead of time - that we would only find out once we use it. Any additional info from community would be helpful. Thank you!

Top Rated Seller status is based on sales and your Seller metrics.
Ebay only supports a 14-day return policy in limited categories.
If you switch to a 14-day return policy, it can only be for remorse returns. Any INAD or INR refund requests would still be covered by the eBay 30-day Money Back Guarantee.
Also, switching to 14-day returns will prevent you from being eligible for Top Rated Plus.
The bottom line is you can switch with the above restrictions.
