How can you see the details of an order once it's been transacted?
I ordered a book, received it, and I'm not sure it matches the picture or the ad copy. For the last 20 years, I could click in at the order and see everything I was able to see when I was simply thinking about bidding/buying - the ad copy, pics -- now you can't access any of that, it's all gone. I'm not sure how long ago ebay stopped allowing buyers/winners from seeing this, as I haven;t had reason to look at anything for a long time, but - it's mind-boggiling to me and SO unfriendly to consumers. What do I have to do now, engage in the time-consuming chore of contacting the buyer and asking them to send me the ad copy and pics?
Anyone have any insight?

You should still be able to see the listing you bought from.
This is a book I bought recently and on the eBay website I can see the listing as it was, when I bought it by clicking see the "item you purchased"
What are you seeing when you click the listing?
✓ If you give me the eBay Item Number for the listing, I can look at it and provide some advice.

OP1 year agoHey thanks but HOW are you getting to that? When I go to MyEbay, All Purchases, no option in there gets me to You bought this item - what is that under?

I go here My eBay > Purchases
https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase
Then I click on the item I bought to look at the listing.
The note is at the top of the listing.

Using a browser you should be able to go to your Purchase History and click on the item title to reach the listing. If the listing is still active or ended within the last ninety days and there is not a link in a banner at the top of the page indicating a change to the listing since your purchase with a link to the original listing, try scrolling down past the sponsored listings to see the original listing.
