How can you find out if something you purchased overseas is a legitimate purchase.

I made a purchase over seaâ€™s but am not really sure if it is legitimate, what is the best way for me to confirm the legitimacy of the order. Every thing looks good but I have been scammed before and donâ€™t look forward too it happening again. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

What kind of feedback does your seller have for selling? That will tell you a lot about how trustworthy the seller is. How long has the seller been selling similar items? Does the seller have feedback from actual buyers for similar items?

Some warning signs to consider before buying:

Is there a pattern of negative feedback indicating a problem? Is the seller too new to evaluate properly?

Is the deal "too good to be true"? Does the seller's business model make no sense -- such as selling heavy items that cannot possibly be profitably shipped at the price being charged?

Is the seller registered in one location, but claiming to ship from another?

Has the seller's behavior changed drastically lately? Has the seller gone from selling handmade doll clothing to suddenly selling crypto mining rigs?
