How can you actually get to chat with someone?
I've just spent an hour trying every possible option. I have a warranty claim opened with Allstate on an eBay refurbished item, and after a week of back and forth just received this,
"Thank you for contacting Allstate,
In order to locate the warranty in the system, please share the eBay certified warranty confirmation email so we can track your warranty and update accordingly.
I never received an email. So, now what? THERE IS NO OPTION IN EBay to address this.
I found this in the refurbished FAQ.
"Your warranty is automatically registered with Allstate at the time of purchase and is included at no extra cost with the purchase of an eBay Refurbished item. You will receive a separate email with details of your warranty. If for any reason you do not receive the warranty confirmation email, the eBay Refurbished badge can act as proof of warranty when paired with a receipt. "
I sent that to Allstate, but am not hopeful.
HOW CAN I CONTACT EBAY ABOUT THIS?

Mentor1 year ago@cstotland Go to your purchase history and save a copy of the order details for the warranty purchase. This should serve as proof. Allstate is really slippery about trying not to pay claims.

You can contact eBay customer service but Allstate is a third party vendor so they really are not going to be able to do much.

The problem seems to be that I did not purchase the warranty coverage, it was provided by eBay as part of the refurbished item purchase cost. I never received the email eBay said I was supposed to receive, and of course that's now what Allstate is demanding. I sent them a copy of the item purchase details that included the warranty verbiage, but that doesn't seem to be enough, even though in the response from the eBay FAQ it says it should. Seems eBay vendor it was shipped from neglected to register the product. That is why I feel the need to contact eBay.
