How can I trust Authentication Guarantee?
Summary: catmantheepic223 expresses concern about the reliability of an authentication process after receiving a card that was incorrectly labeled. Although they received the correct artist proof card they wanted, the discrepancy in labeling raises doubts about the authentication's credibility. They are hesitant to contact the seller since they ultimately received the intended item after a lengthy wait, and fear losing the card if a dispute arises.
I purchased an artist proof Oblation about a month ago, and it got sent off to authentication. This was the first time I have ever had a card sent to them, and I finally got it in the mail today. First off, although it is an artist proof Oblation, it does not match the photo, and second, Ebay Authentication labeled it as the wrong card. I do not want to really contact the buyer, as again I DID receive the correct card. But how can I truly trust them that its real if authentication can't even get the card name right? Attached are photos of the QR scan, and the front and back of the card I received before I opened it.
Again I really don't want to contact the buyer, as I waited a month for it and I did receive the card I wanted, and on top of that, I'm not really sure if anything would/could be done about it without me losing the card. I am just having an extremely hard time trusting their authentication process.
