How can I talk to someone at eBay?
UPS told eBay my 4lb package weighed 12 lbs. eBay gave UPS $9.76 for extra weight charge. I have the receipt showing it weighed 4 lbs. It was weighed at the UPS store. I want my money back in my account.

OP11 months agoIt had nothing to do with the package size. I had two items ship, one for 8 lbs, one for 4 lbs. A total of 12 pounds. Someone at UPS saw a 12 pound total, and thought it was for one box. At least that's what I think happened. It was a backpack, weighed less than 3 pounds. The box brought it to 4 pounds. Not a huge box, and my dimensions were correct.

Mentor11 months agoWhat were the measurements of your package? This sounds like it was a case of dimensional fees. If you go over their set limits, you are assed a dimensional charge that raises the weight to match the dimensional size. For example, a pillow in a large box may not weigh much, but is over the size limit. It then goes by dimensional weight. Fees can also apply if the dimensions weren't set properly in the listing. The charges are from UPS not eBay, so a credit is not in order.
