How can I talk to an actual person at eBay?
I am trying to contact an actual person at eBay to change the reason I am returning something. I accidentally chose defective item in stead of no longer needed. Once I moved away from that page where you select it would not let me change the reason. Now the seller wants me to have eBay change it so it's not a mark against her . I have tried and tried to get to some screen she said has a way to let me request a call from eBay. I cannot find it anywhere. Help!

You cannot change the reason, and eBay won't likely change it.
Do NOT close the return, you won't be able to open it again.
Don't worry about the seller's metrics, one return won't hurt them. When the return is complete, just leave nice feedback

There is no incoming phone number for buyers or sellers. If you want a call back from eBay Customer Service, here is how to get a call:

Find a page similar to your question
Scroll to the Bottom of the page similar to your question
1) Click "Contact Us" or the ? then select choices until you see
2) Chat with our automated assistant (to the left), click that
In the CHAT WINDOW
3) Type "Agent"
4) Click Your topic
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
6) Click “Have Us Call You” (or "Chat with an Agent")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.
