Did you click on a blue button to turn a reminder on? This is how it works for me:
Go back to the eBay Live event(s) where you activated the blue "Remind Me" button(s).
You'll notice that the button(s) on your chosen events are not blue anymore. The button is now white. Click on what is now the "Reminder On" button and that will toggle the reminder back to the "Remind Me" state (see screenshot below):
