How can I reverse negative feedback for seller; item arrived after 2 months
I tried to contact seller repeatedly asking for shipping details and a tracking number. I contacted eBay and was told I had waited too long to be covered by buyer protection. Seller did not respond until after I had left negative feedback. Then I got a message that she had shipped it out and was sorry for the delay. Still not a great buying experience, but she doesn't deserve a negative rating anymore, since I did receive the item after 2 months.

Mentor3 years agoIf it has been longer than 30 days since you left the negative, you won't be able to revise it. If less than 30 days, contact the seller and ask for a Feedback Revision request.
I would think twice about this though...the seller ignored your messages until she suffered consequences and then suddenly decided to do her job.
If you decide you want to revise, don't request the revision until you have received your item and are satisfied with it. A promise to ship is not the same thing as delivering the package to you.

OP3 years agoThank you for your reply. I agree, I would not revise the feedback on a promise of shipment, but I did receive it yesterday, so I'm satisfied. I see that she also refunded my purchase price, which wasn't necessary, once she shipped it. Still a frustrating buying experience, but with resolution in the end.

Mentor3 years agoWell, that's good. Sounds like she was trying to make up for her error (or non-action).
