How can I get the receipt from an iPad 2 I bought on eBay that was purchased many years ago ?
I think I bought the iPad 2 in 2012 but I have moved twice since then. The closest Apple Store to me won’t help me because I don’t have a receipt from eBay. The iPad is now locked in activation reset mode after it went into automatic update for an iOS the iPad didn’t support. This is an unfortunate flaw in the find my iPad app that otherwise is a good security thing.

Mentor1 year agoPurchase History only goes back to 2017, and if you want a receipt from eBay that is your only option, I believe, unless you archived the email you received back in 2012.
You may be able to get some info from your feedback left or received if you exchanged feedback, but only basic information, not a receipt. Enough to satisfy the Apple Store? I don't know.
You can order a report of your purchases by year, but again, only basic details: item name and number, seller username, date, price and shipping. No pictures, descriptions or receipts.
