How can i get rid of this 7 days to pay thing ebay has done

Question

Now ebay is allowing buyers to say they want 7 days to "maybe" buy more. I want to get rid of it, can it be done.

If you require buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding AND allow combined shipping in your account settings, then the buyer may choose to keep bidding for 7 days before paying.

When bidding in Auctions, buyers may choose to

choose Shop and ship separately to have their payment process automatically 1 hour after winning an auction, or
choose Shop more, ship together, to get up to 7 days to shop other items from the seller that qualify for combined shipping.
With either option, buyers can still choose to check out manually at any time.

Hi @keep4u

Below explains why this is happening on your account.

If you have:

-Auto-pay turned ON on this page near the bottom for Auctions: Buyer management | eBay

AND

-You offer Combined shipping which can be set up on this page: Shipping Preferences

AND

-A buyer wins an auction, eBay gives them 7 days to continue shopping & pay to take advantage of your Combined shipping.

If you turn Auto-pay OFF but still offer Combined shipping it will not happen.

If you have Auto-pay ON but do NOT offer combined shipping it will not happen.

My Auto-pay is OFF for both Auctions and Offers (which I don't use) but I do offer Combined shipping so I never see that issue.
